Yes I know, to most carnations are throw away filler flowers....call me crazy but I love them! Every once in a while I will see them on sale at the market and I splurge and buy them for myself as a little treat. I have had this little bunch of pale pink mini carnations for two weeks now and they still look as fresh as the day I bought them. There is something about the way they smell and their petals are so soft and look like tissue paper. Give them a chance and you will see.
